Practice common PDF tasks with sample files
Start with fictional inputs before using your own document. These guides show the English interface, explain what to inspect and link to related tools for the next step.
Choose the operation that matches the task
Merge combines separate files; Split extracts pages; Organize changes page order, rotation or selection. PDF to Word changes the file format, while Translate PDF changes the language of readable text. Making a PDF from photos does not recognize their words; OCR is a separate step.
A visible signature is different from a certificate-based digital signature. Flattening supported fields is not absolute edit protection, and an ordinary cover shape is not redaction. Each tool page explains what the operation can preserve and what to check in its output.
Access and document checks
Which PDF tools are free?
Basic use is free without an account, a daily file quota or a PDFandGO watermark. OCR, existing-text replacement and Word export are separate advanced operations; using them on the document can change its download-access requirements.
Are my document files uploaded?
PDF processing runs in your browser on your own device. Document files are not uploaded to a PDF-processing server. Software, fonts or language models may download when needed. Account, payment and technical data are handled separately under the privacy policy.
What should I check before sharing an output?
Keep the original. Check page order, readable text, font appearance, fine print and any links or form fields your workflow needs. Device capacity and PDF structure affect the result.
PDF guides and examples
Read step-by-step guides with actual screenshots and synthetic sample files. The tool directory links to the existing pages, so there is one main English URL for each tool rather than duplicate keyword variants.
